Our History, a Product of Vision and Innovation

Powered by a professional and dynamic team for more than 50 years, Groupe DCB Experts have assisted many entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders in building their wealth with confidence, discipline, and efficiency.

The firm was founded in 1969 by William (Bill) Barkovich, M.B.A., a visionary and innovator. In 1982, realizing that his clients wanted more than brokerage services, he opted for a different business model to provide advice and comprehensive wealth management services.

From a brokerage business, the company would grow to become a firm of professionals whose complementary traditional brokerage expertise services the needs of entrepreneurs and business executives.

Our Values are the Foundations of our Success

Integrity

We are a team of passionate and highly motivated professionals. We work closely with your accountant, your legal advisor, your tax specialist, and your investment advisors – synergy between these experts is key to your success.

Confidentiality

We feel it is essential to ensure our clients’ privacy and require their consent for the collection, use and disclosure of their information. Protecting the confidential nature of our relationship with our clients is extremely important to us.

Transparency

The firm, its shareholders and its employees do not hold an ownership interest in any insurance company, nor does any bank, financial institution or insurance company own any part of our company or lend us money. We will notify you of any conflicts of interest, which we take seriously, in relation to the recommendations we provide you with. We declare that our recommendations are based on our analysis and assessment of our clients’ financial needs.

Compensation

Compensation for the firm and its senior advisors consists of commissions received on the sale of financial products or management fees agreed upon with the client. A renewal commission may also be received if you keep such products in force. No other forms of compensation will be received by the firm or its senior advisors, either directly or indirectly. Any changes to these compensation practices will be disclosed in writing.
